Akoya Pearl Strand | The Akoya is the standard bearer for saltwater pearls. Masato Akoya pearls are cultured from 18 months to two years and generally measure in the larger range for Akoya from 7mm to 9mm in diameter.  Nacre colors include cream, pink, blue, and silver overtones.

Akoya and Tahitian Black Pearl Strands | Formed by the Black-lipped Oyster, black pearls are cultured in waters of the islands surrounding French Polynesia such as Fiji.  Pearl diameters for this style range from 9mm to 18mm.  Tahitian government criteria ensure a minimum of 0.8mm nacre thickness with colors ranging from a lustrous charcoal to even green and silver hues.

Naturally Grey Akoya Strand | This truly rare style of Akoya pearls have an ethereal presence and rich platinum hue.  They’re formed when microscopic material like phytoplankton envelops the nucleus during culturing.  They account for only 3% of each annual harvest, and jewelry grade spherical specimens are especially scarce.

South Sea Gold Pearl | Generally considered some of the most exotic available, authentic South Seas pearls must be cultured by the Silver-lipped Oyster or the Pinctada maxima.  Ranging in size from 9mm to 19mm, and in rare cases even exceeding 20mm, these pearls are formed with nacre in both white and rich golden hues.
